Walk on the Charles Bridge
Another grandiose architectural structure awaits travelers who have reached the capital of the Czech Republic - the famous Charles Bridge. Who would have thought that an ordinary aqueduct connecting two shores could send tourists on an amazing journey through time.
The construction of Charles Bridge began in 1357, it connects the Old Town Square with Prague Castle, where the kings and queens of the Czech Republic sat for centuries. Once upon a time, only representatives of the royal family could cross it for free, everyone else was charged a fare. Today it is open to everyone, since the middle of the last century, the bridge has become a pedestrian and one of the main objects of the tourist business.
