Palanga is a resort that has its own airport, which makes life much easier for modern tourists. You can get to Palanga in 2 hours if you take advantage of the offer of Rusline. Direct flights from Domodedovo to Palanga airport are offered on Sundays in the summer, which is considered high. The plane leaves at 7:55 am, which saves you a whole day of rest. By noon, leaving things at the hotel, the traveler will be able to enjoy the light sea breeze on the beach. Tickets will cost about 150 euros one way. It is expensive, so tourists who want to save money choose a flight with one stop, for example, in Minsk. This way to get to Palanga is offered by the Belavia company. You can save only 50 euros, but you will have to spend about 11 hours on the way.
A plane ticket from LOT - Polish Airlines costs about 100 euros. Docking takes place in Warsaw and lasts 6 hours 40 minutes. How to get to Palanga from Vilnius

- First you need to be in Vilnius. You can take a plane, but there is a more pleasant and budget option - a train that departs from Moscow to Kaliningrad with a stop in Vilnius. The way to the capital of Lithuania takes 12 hours.
- The main city bus station is located near the Vilnius railway station, from where regular buses run to Palanga.
- You do not need to buy tickets in advance. Just go to the ticket office and in Russian ask for a ticket for the nearest bus. Buses run approximately every two hours. The fare is about 20 euros.
- In just 4, 5 hours a comfortable bus will take you to Palanga. There are small stops along the way.
If the waiting time in Vilnius allows, you can leave your things in the luggage room and go for a walk in the historic city center. It is a five minute walk from both stations.
To Palanga from Klaipeda
There is another original option for a trip to Palanga, which also allows you to visit several Baltic cities. This route will appeal to curious travelers who are not burdened by elderly relatives and young children. It includes several stages:
- on a direct train departing from the Belorussky railway station, you should get to Kaliningrad;
- then you need to take a bus to Klaipeda;
- It will be very easy to get from Klaipeda to Palanga - route taxis run between these two settlements.
Several points should be made here. The train arrives in Kaliningrad at 19:14, and the bus to Klaipeda leaves about three hours earlier. The traveler will have to spend the night in Kaliningrad. This means that the tourist gets an excellent opportunity to see all the local attractions.
You can drive from Kaliningrad to Klaipeda in 4 hours and 30 minutes. The trip is considered easy. The way from Klaipeda to Palanga takes about 40 minutes. Minibuses run frequently, so there shouldn't be any problems with tickets.
